'I'm not sure old english folk tunes have been recreated with keyboards, electric guitar and percussion before but I think it really works here. There's no point recreating the songs 'faithfully' as they were done in the past. When I work with a great piece or pieces of music I want to honour what makes them great by finding a connection to the audience here, now in the 21st century.'
