'This
is my favourite place to make music. It's an old cider barn in Somerset
where I live. All the musicians who come here to work are surprised
by what this place brings out in them. It's also my base for bringing
more orchestral music to the West Country. It's amazing to conduct all
over the world but I also feel strongly that my community here and in
the west of England, (where there are precious few venues or live orchestral
performance), should have access to world class music.' |
